GEMS FROM AROUND THE WORLD
RUBIES is the journal of Ruman Project: a grassroots organization working to foster Christian-Muslim relations and support refugees. All written and visual submissions to our journal should aim to align with our mission and vision in some capacity.
CALL FOR JOURNAL SUBMISSIONS
The theme of the first issue of our international journal will be Intersectional Feminism. Ruman Project has been working diligently to promote inclusion and diversity, because we believe that #IntersectionalFeminismIsNothingWithoutInterfaithDialogue. Intersectionality in Feminism, while not new, is a necessary approach that has been gaining visibility around the globe. With this issue we hope to contribute to the important dialogue surrounding this topic.
We will aim to feature submissions that consider the power of spirituality and religion in intersectional feminist activism, as well as the importance of supporting and celebrating refugee women within Western societies. RUBIES will strive to center the voices and thoughts of historically marginalized people of color who identify as women.
We are seeking scholarly articles, personal narratives, poetry, graphic design, and other visual and written works that center around Intersectional Feminism. For those interested in contributing, please send abstracts or proposals for your visual and written works to email@example.com for consideration.

Please provide an abstract or proposal for approval by our editorial team as soon as possible. It is important to note that we will not accept full articles or written submissions at this time.
